T.E.S.T.C.O.P.Y.

Ive had similar problems with this printer few years ago. Does not print red, all other colors are perfect. Original HP Magenta that prints on two other printers perfectly, does not work on this printer. Any ideas on solving this problem before I kick it down the street to the river :)

Try to disassemble and clean the laser unit

Was thinking about contacts inside cartridge and with the printer but will try this one also. Thanks :)

Yes, thats the solution for my problem, in addition here is a detailed instruction on how to do it. Not all of it is for techs but wont do any harm seeing it, as this guy put effort on explaining every thing. Xar, Thanks for pointing this to me :)

I know;)) has everyone lost their sense of humor, this used to be such a fun place... Mishel always complaining about something, everyone killing their printers with wrong firmware, me finding rats in every third printer i open, you always on vacation, EL disappearing into uncharted corners ......:)))))
